Who Am I?
I’m Emily a home styling enthusiast, DIY lover, and firm believer that every space deserves to feel cozy, beautiful, and completely you. I’ve spent the last 7+ years obsessing over interior design, experimenting with decor on a budget, and helping friends and family transform their homes without spending a fortune.
Before starting this blog, I worked in home staging and interior consulting, where I learned firsthand how small, intentional changes can completely transform how a space feels. That experience is the foundation of everything I share here.
Why Did I Start Cozy Dream Decor?
It started with my first apartment a tiny, bare, uninspiring space that I desperately wanted to turn into something warm and beautiful. I remember spending hours searching for practical, budget-friendly advice and coming up mostly empty. Everything I found was either too expensive, too complicated, or just not me.
So I figured it out myself through trial and error, lots of Pinterest rabbit holes, and a healthy obsession with thrift stores. And once my space started coming together, my friends kept asking: “How did you do that? Can you help me?”
That’s when I realized there was a real need for a home decor resource that is honest, approachable, and actually doable for real people. Cozy Dream Decor was born from that moment.

- 🐾 Spending time with my dog, who has very strong opinions about throw pillows
